REMEMBRANCE AT THE NH HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL IN NASHUA

From 1941 to 1945, 6 million Jews were murdered with the aim to exterminate the Jewish race. Other murder victims included political opponents, Gypsies, “undesired” citizens, communists, POWs, the physically and mentally disabled. By recent estimate, about 17 million were killed by the Nazis and their collaborators.

The use of killing centers equipped with gas chambers, incinerators, body burning pits and bone crushers for the purpose of systematic mass-murder was (and remains) unprecedented in history. Death camps were constructed in Auschwitz, Belzec, Chelmno, Majdanek, Sobibor and Treblinka with the express purpose to exterminate people gathered from many nations.

With worldwide violence rising against Jews, Christians and other groups at the hand of Islamic militants it is time to make a stand one more time to say, in our community, never again. It is critically important to have a voice that rings out loud in unity against the ungodly violence that is rising in the world

On Sunday the 19th of April 2015 at 1:00pm Congregation Sha'ar Hashamayim in Stoughton, MA, hosted the Holocaust remembrance service at the NH Holocaust Memorial in Nashua’s Rotary Park..During that time we  dedicated a new monument to the memory of one million Jewish children who were tortured and murdered. There was special music, speakers and prayer during the service.

The event was well attended and a time that touched everyone who attended.

The website to the park is http://www.nhholocaustmemorial.com
