Rabbi Henry's 2011 Christmas rant and more
As a Messianic Jew, I have a major problem with icons because of what the Scripture says. This is not a personal bias. I believe that the Word of the Lord is clear in this matter. I also do not believe that the first Messianic believers would have condoned this practice, based on their observance of the Torah. Here are a list of Scriptures and the basic gist of each verse for you to examine. The entire verse needs to be read in context for the full understanding to be had.

The Lord's standard for revival not ours
Our world deals with its issues in a very subjective manner. The majority of decisions that are made in this world are made based on how we feel at moment. There was an old expression that was used in my generation it went something like this, "If it feels good do it".
This expressed the sentiment of an entire generation, "ignore the facts do what you feel". I’m not here to tell you that our feelings are totally invalid in the decision making process. What I am saying, however, is that feelings should not be our sole foundation and methodology in the decision-making process for the important issues in our life, especially when it comes to making decisions of a spiritual nature.

Rabbi Henry's 2011 Halloween Rant
Shalom one and all:
So here I go again starting trouble when there is no need to. I always stick my nose into areas that it doesn’t belong, or do I. Well, you all know what time of the year it is? Yes, it is that sinfully wicked holiday of Halloween, and I just refuse to let sleeping dogs lie. You are more than welcome to hit the delete button if you need to, but for those of you who are heartier of spirit, stick with me.
I have decided not to take the traditional approach to the matter by giving all the historical reasons why believers should not celebrate this day. …
Promises to Israel
I am writing to you today to keep you in remembrance of our call to Israel. Please understand this is a word of encouragement not rebuke. Yet, we need to be constantly reminded of these things in a world that is so upside-down that sometimes we ourselves can get confused. In light of what is happening in NY right now at the UN, I present to you these Scriptures and thoughts so that we might not forget.
Psalms 137
5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget her skill.
6 May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not exalt Jerusalem Above my chief joy.
Koranic Islamic Faith vs Biblical Messianic Faith
Messianic faith teaches its followers to live for God with all of their heart soul mind and strength and love their neighbor as their own selves, Luke 10:27. We are called to impart this faith unto others without encroaching on their free will (Josh 24:15). To seek those who are lost (Mt 18:11) that they might have life eternal with God the lover of their soul. (John 3:15-16)
Koranic faith teaches its followers to live in submission to Allah to the point of embracing death as the highest goal on this earth. …

More on Egypt's Revolt
First of all, polls indicate that the majority of those who were involved in this revolt still favor an Islamic style Sharia state; for instance according to a Pew Poll:
Day of Remembrance

On the date of May 1st 2011, Sha'ar Hashamayim will be hosting a march for Yom HaShoa (Day of Holocaust Remembrance). During this event we would meet in the center of Sharon, in a place that would be convenient for all. We will announce that place soon. Then we will march to the gazebo on the lake. We will wear t-shirts and carry banners en route. This march is not for the purpose of protesting. We are marching to attest. Once at the gazebo there will be a time where we would honor Holocaust survivors and their families. …

What Is In A Word
Everyone knows how important and powerful words can be. Even wasted and careless words show something about our character. In the spoken and written word we have the power of life and death. We have seen this throughout History, especially during war. The Scripture truly shows us the importance of a word and articulates it in many different ways.
Pro 25:11 Like apples of gold in settings of silver is a word spoken in right circumstances. NASB
In other words, a word spoken well is precious and sweet and properly framed in right context. …

Christianity or Christian Insanity?
Keeping in the spirit of, 1st John 1:4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world, I have decided to post these 3 videos. They were produced for the purpose of revealing a deception that has gripped the church all over the world, in the supposed new revival movements. There is a spirit of confusion that has intermingled with new age philosophy that has infiltrated the body of believers. This happens so easily now as a result of the Gospel being pulled out of it's Biblical Jewish context. …

Who Is a Keeper Of The Law?
The scriptures in Jer 31 say that the law has been put in our hearts. The law has not been abolished it has been put in its proper place, our heart (Mt 5:17), where it was supposed to be all along.
Jer 31. “Behold, days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,
32. “not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them," declares the LORD.

2Ti 3:13 But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
2Ti 3:14 You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them,

Easter Vs Passover the Second Edition
My last note about a week ago seems to have stirred up quite a hornets’ nest of controversy. As I suspected, I received a number of notes requesting me to remove them from my list. Any one who has asked to be taken off the list, please be patient as I search for your email and remove it. If I don't get to yours right away just email me again until I find your email. Other notes were sent to me as a rebuke for my “harsh approach”. I have been reproved for condemning the church and warned that I must repent of my behavior. …
Easter Ramblings 2010
And now for another episode of Rabbi’s Ramblings.
This episode features the topic of Passover. Before we start, I would like to preface this with just one statement: If you can give me one Biblical reason I should celebrate Easter, I will give you at least 10 why you should celebrate Passover.
The Topic can be dealt with in short if I do it in the form of a comparative graph. So here goes.
Easter:
1. Invented by Constantine in 325 AD as a substitute for Passover at the council of…
